Donate to the Couchiching Institute on Public Affairs
The Couchiching Institute is a charitable, not-for-profit, volunteer-based organization. It neither advocates any position nor lobbies for action. Founded in 1931, its mandate is to build Canadian democracy, one great conversation at a time. Known for events that encourage rich, open conversations, the Couchiching Institute on Public Affairs excels at attracting thoughtful, knowledgeable Canadians passionate about public affairs to participate in our Summer Conference and our array of year-round events across Canada.
Over the years our work has been supported through generous individual and institutional donations that have played a vital role in sustaining our activities. We are grateful for your continued support and encourage you to take part in all of our programs.
Donations enable us to feature stimulating speakers and panelists in our events and also support our scholarships, awards, and free Conversations events, thereby increasing awareness, understanding and knowledge of domestic and international issues among people in Canada. Our focus is always on open and inclusive dialogue without advocacy or partisanship..
